Rock 'n Wheels

Rock ’n Wheels takes place every Thursday evening, June through August from 6 to 10 p.m. on the Village Green, just east of Village Hall. The Addison Village Hall is located at 1 Friendship Plaza, on the southeast corner of Lake Street and JF Kennedy Drive.

Admission to Rock 'n Wheels is free, although all rules and guidelines are expected to be followed.

Food and beverages are available for purchase from local restaurants and reasonable prices.  This includes beer and wine from some vendors.

No pets are allowed at the event; the entire venue is non-smoking.

Main parking is in the Village Hall parking lot. The Village Green is on the opposite side of the building; the venue is accessible by following the sidewalks on the north or south side of Village Hall.

On busier nights, additional parking is available in the Indian Trail Junior High School parking lot across JF Kennedy Drive.

Handicapped parking is available in the northeast section of the Village Hall parking lot.  You will need to show a handicapped placard to be allowed into the section.  It has a curb cut for wheelchairs, and a path along the north side of the building that leads to the Village Green.

Limited handicapped parking is also available in the parking lot behind St. Paul Church. The parking lot can be access from south — Addison Road, to Moreland, west to Church, north to Natoma, west to May St. You will need to show a handicapped placard to be allowed to park in the lot.

The Bike and Car Cruise Night portion of Rock 'n Wheels is located at Green Meadow Shopping Center, directly across the street from the Rock 'n Wheels stage.  Limited spots are available, facing Lake Street. No registration is needed.

Village Hall is accessible during Rock 'n Wheels, and restrooms are located in the rotunda on both the first and second floors. Port-a-Potties are also available adjacent to the venue, on Army Trail Blvd.

Due to Health Department regulations near food, pets of any kind are no longer allowed at Rock 'n Wheels.

Free rides for small children are provided.

Every attempt is made to hold Rock ’n Wheels!  Because of this, we do not make a decision to cancel simply because of the threat of rain early in the day.  A determination will be made after 2 p.m.

When the decision is made to cancel a show, the information will be posted here on our website, our Facebook page (AddisonEvents) and X (formerly known as Twitter) (@AddisonVillage).

There are some picnic tables available.  Most attendees will need to have their own lawn chair or blanket.

You may set up your chairs or blankets early on event day, but please keep in mind the Village of Addison cannot be responsible for items that are moved or stolen.  When a larger crowd is expected (on a night when a national act is headlining) there may be a "Standing Room Only" section near the stage.  Any chairs or blankets placed in this area will be removed by Village staff.
The Craft & Vintage Fair is run by the Addison Historical Museum.  Crafters may register by contacting Susan English at museum@addison-il.org or call 630-628-1433.
